The Secondary Admission Interview Training Course on Bestie E-learning Platform consists of individual part and group discussion. Past interview questions from prestigious schools, news and liberal studies topics, as well as read aloud practices are included in the individual part. For group discussion sessions, various types of discussion topics are discussed to broaden children’s thinking perspectives and sharpen their discussion techniques. Through these two parts, we aim to help our students stand out from the crowd.

Videos of Bestie E-learning Platform will be shared via private links. Students are able to access our videos with smartphones or tablets anytime, anywhere. For online read aloud and group discussion sessions, we will be using the online video conference application “Zoom”. Students will receive a link for the video conference before the session. Make sure to install “Zoom” before the session. Registration is not needed. Students can successfully join the video conference by simply clicking into the link or by typing in the Meeting ID.

Our online Secondary Admission Interview Training course covers basic, common and advanced interview question types. In general, children are able to acquire skilled answering techniques, useful sentence structures and vocabulary, as well as diverse thinking perspectives for basic and common questions in our Silver Star Course. If you hope to provide a more comprehensive training for your child, to enhance your child’s critical thinking skills and answer elaboration techniques, long-term interview training of Gold Star Course is preferred, since it includes a larger range of question types.

It is important for students to understand common interview questions and interview formats before the interview. This helps to strengthen their self-confidence and helps them to maintain stable performance. Students would be able to finish all practice from Bronze Star Course within 1 month with ease and grasp the gist of answering basic interview questions. However, joining Silver Star Course or Gold Star Course is ideal for students who hope to undergo intensive training of various question types before the interview. Students could receive tutorial videos of a larger variety of question types from common and advanced questions. Completing the tasks as preparation for the upcoming interviews can increase the chances of entering your target schools.

The class size for our online group discussion sessions is limited to 2 to 6 students. In situations where only one student has registered for a particular session, the student can choose to participate in a group discussion with our tutor, or to put the group discussion quotas on hold first, and join other available group discussion sessions in a different time slot.

If parents need to request a leave from registered online sessions, please inform us by calling 3622-1038 or WhatsApp us at 9823-2999 to reschedule the class as soon as possible. Students will have 1 free-of-charge class rearrangement quota for joining Bronze Star Course, 3 free-of-charge class rearrangement quotas for joining Silver Star Course and 6 free-of-charge class rearrangement quotas for joining Gold Star Course. If the given free-of-charge class rearrangement quotas are used up, an extra HK$50 administrative fee will be charged for each class rearrangement. If the extra administrative fee is not received, the affected classes will be forfeited automatically.

Since each child has different target schools, our Secondary Admission Interview Training Course aims to familiarize our students with interview questions of different types and topics, as well as to train up their answering techniques, organization skills and to enhance their self-confidence. Our online course has included common secondary school admission interview formats. This allows our students to adapt to real-life interview situations, thus, to maintain an outstanding performance.

If students hope to target interview formats and languages of particular secondary schools, or hope to train questions of specific topics, our Online Private Lesson would be a better option. Our tutors will prepare relevant questions according to students’ target schools in the private class to assess their ability to improvise, while also sharpening their knowledge and skills on answering questions of specific topics such as STEM, common sense, liberal studies, literary appreciation, extended questions on reading reports and more. We only accept one answer recording for questions from every tutorial video. Students can choose to record their answers in either Cantonese or English. After receiving our tutor’s comments, students can improve their answers afterwards and practice the adjusted version at home before the interview. If students hope to answer the same questions again, joining our in-school classes and joining our private lessons could be suitable options.

If you hope to join Bronze Star Course as trial course, you can supplement the price difference between Bronze Star Course and the discounted price of Silver or Gold Star Course within the first 14 days from the day of payment. If you have decided to upgrade after the 14-day period, you will have to supplement the price difference between Bronze Star Course and the original price of Silver or Gold Star Course to learn more answering techniques and master comprehensive thinking perspectives for the interview.

After joining our Silver Star Course, you can supplement the price difference between Silver Star Course and the discounted price of Gold Star Course within the first 14 days of payment or upgrade. You child will be able to entitle all contents of Gold Star Course, as well as the 2 extra mock interview sessions. If your child does not hope to fully upgrade to Gold Star Course, purchasing 10 advanced questions, 4 group discussion sessions and 2 read aloud practice sessions with the original price of Bronze Star Course could be an option.

Once you have successfully purchased 10 advanced questions, 4 group discussion sessions and 2 read aloud practice sessions individually for 3 times, i.e. you have purchased 30 advanced question videos in total, you will be able to enjoy the 3 extra benefits included in the Gold Star Course.
